Day 3 - Monday 20th October

 DAY 3 - Monday 20th

Again we woke to a lovely sunny morning and after a filling breakfast got down to work. By the end of the morning we had managed to put the Schubert Mass together with orchestra and also Miss Zanardo's mash up - 'Rocket'.

I am afraid for some reason videos don't seem to work on this blog, so I can only post photos, but you will get a chance to hear it all on Thursday 6th November!

We had lunch in old town Split and then got on the coach to go to Klis Fortress and had a fascinating guided tour from our tour guide Laura, a graduating Art History student at Split university - the second largest university in Croatia after Zagreb. The small chapel had an amazing acoustic and so we couldn't resist giving an impromptu performance in there! Another resonant place is the stairwell of he hotel where Bea, Bella and Stevie decided to sing 'Royals' (a piece we did with those that came on the 2021 tour to Croatia) whilst climbing all the way up to the 7th floor! Their performance can be heard on the group's Googleclassroom!

On returning to the hotel there was an opportunity to use the indoor pool before we all walked to Konoba More restaurant a short walk away from the hotel.

After a very full day, rooms fell quiet very quickly on our return to the hotel!
